NazNet Coordinator Hans Deventer cannot bring himself to accept Jesus’ clear statements regarding eternal punishment for the unsaved.


This is what Deventer provided on NazNet:


“The other day this verse crossed my mind:

    but his favor lasts a lifetime;
    weeping may remain for a night,

“Do these verses sound like God will maintain endless conscious suffering in hell?”


Deventer, always tending to experiment with the Bible, considering it to be fallible, refuses to accept the eternal punishment of the unredeemed. Therefore, he explains away Jesus’ warnings of everlasting damnation.


This is sheer hubris, of which Deventer is not averse. In fact, when reading this NazNet staff member’s posts, they frequently state the gospel according to Deventer rather than the divinely revealed eternal truths.


Deventer delights in posing questions about Jesus’ teachings concerning those who reject the sinless Sacrifice’s provision for salvation. In that, Deventer even goes so far as to believe in the annihilation of unsaved souls.


He cannot bring himself to accept the divine justice inherent in an eternal hell. He is more than willing to write copiously about divine love and mercy. But when it comes to the divine anger and justice, he wilts.


That is not healthy for a theological segment on the site, such stating repeatedly that it is a “friend” to the Church of the Nazarene.


The Church of the Nazarene history is one of total loyalty to the Bible as God’s revealed truth. Therefore, when it comes to the clear verses concerning heaven and hell, they have been preached in the Church of the Nazarene just as one reads them in the Bible.


However, then comes along Deventer who has the most fun whittling away, carving out his own definitions, and finally questioning the substance of the verses studied.

When is NazNet founder / coordinator Dave McClung going to expunge Deventer’s heresies? Unless he does, NazNet continues to be an enemy to the holiness foundation of the Church of the Nazarene.

Staffers offering their own versions of Christian truth include Hans Deventer, Scott Cundiff, and Dave McClung.


Chaplain Barbara Moulton, once on staff, has since bowed out after stating she would not perform marriage ceremonies for same-sex duos but also she would not take a public stand against such either. So goes her biblical testimony on behalf of one-man one-woman nuptials.


Heresies furthered by NazNet include Deventer believing that unsaved souls are annihilated at death. For him there is no everlasting punishment called “hell.”


Deventer also refers to an “intermediate state” for the soul after death. Where does the Bible teach that? It doesn’t. It is a Catholic / sometimes Anglican teaching but not found in Scripture. Nevertheless, Deventer goes on elaborating nonsense on behalf of an “intermediate state.”


Several staffers, including Deventer and Cundiff in particular, do not believe that the Bible is totally reliable as 100% divinely inspiration holy writ. In other words, the Bible has errors in it. Once we pick out one error, then when and where do we stop if we don’t accept the infallible Word of God?


Deventer states that he does not believe in universalism—that is, universal salvation in that all souls go to heaven—but wishes that God believed in universal salvation.


Now that is totally sap material and should never find a place on a website that repeatedly claims it is a “friend” to the Church of the Nazarene.


Deventer is quite enthusiastic about infant baptism
so believes it should be accepted worldwide as a bottom line ritual. Though there is no reference in the Bible to infants being baptized, Deventer wishes that it was embraced globally by the Church of the Nazarene.


NazNet has an obvious bias for a “high church” Church of the Nazarene. Mimicking Catholicism / Anglicanism is a prime choice by staffers.


NazNet cheers on the emerging church with its flim-flam diluting of biblical preaching and teaching. NazNet thrills at the thought of an emerging church engulfing the Church of the Nazarene.


I have contacted NazNet staffers repeatedly as well as the General Superintendents of the Church of the Nazarene concerning these heretical intrusions. However, nothing basic has changed at NazNet.


And apparently the General Superintendents leadership is sadly limp at this point, that is, relating to NazNet’s destructive influence. If with NazNet, where else are Superintendents lax?


Why doesn’t the Church of the Nazarene use this religiously confused time to spell out more exactly the denomination’s historic biblical truths: salvation, sanctification, heaven, hell, biblical infallibility, grassroots evangelism and so forth?


Instead, NazNet delights in the heretically novel, playing up to young posters especially, trying to be on the theological edge and baiting doctrinally grounded biblical Nazarenes to beg off the site for fear of being ostracized by the heretically “elite.”


If this continues, the Church of the Nazarene will splinter further. It is fractured now; but the NazNet heresies’ push with Superintendents’ laxity will further the malaise.


While the world awaits a more specific explanation regarding the Nazarene’s historically prime call—preaching and teaching biblical holiness—the denomination crumbles due to lack of leadership and divisions increasing within its ranks.

Chaplain Barbara Moulton, former staff member of NazNet, stated as a clergyperson she would not perform homosexual “marriages.”


However, she then stated she would not publicly say she disagreed with same-gender duo nuptials.


In other words, she would not use her chaplaincy to conduct weddings for two women or two men; however, she would not let the world know her position either.


Moulton was confronted with this inconsistency of refusing performing nuptials but not stating her biblical position “outside the closet.”

With that confrontation, I was informed by NazNet Founder / Coordinator Dave McClung that Moulton was quite “pained” in having to be faced with her contradiction. I did not respond to McClung. Nevertheless, I did wonder how a Nazarene chaplain could be on staff for NazNet and yet hold to such a “gay-mum” stance.

Since then, Moulton’s name is no longer on NazNet’s masthead though she frequently contributes to the sites’ discussions, usually on the liberal side of issues.


The Church of the Nazarene General Superintendents have been informed of this debacle, as well as informed of numerous heresies propagated by NazNet, seemingly with no significant results forthcoming.

It is often circulated that the General Superintendents
muffle their authority on a number of themes; consequently, I was not surprised that they had not made an imprint on NazNet for change.

The Moulton situation is exemplary of how stogy the Nazarene Kansas City headquarters headship has hidden its head in the sand. All the while, the denomination founders.


Concerning Moulton, there have been those who hoped that she would put down her silence position to come out publicly on behalf of God’s Word. The Bible states without doubt that God abhors homosexual practice, let alone “marriages” of same-gender duos.


Nevertheless, Moulton does not recant regarding her “gay-mum” lock-in, at least not via NazNet. Therefore, her cowardice remains intact to confront her at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Since the nuclear age began, the globe has been threatened with extinction. Evil mortals have sought to wipe out our very existence.


However, this has not happened. Why? There is a reason why we have not disappeared.


It is not because of any civil defense systems or international protective shields. Mortals are not capable of securing the planet.


It is because God in Christ created this sphere. This Creator oversees the maintenance of our dwelling place. And it is He who will bring this globe into its final phase.


There is no other explanation that can be given, considering mortals’ intent on destroying whatever comes along. And considering the tendencies to error, there is no reason why something should not have gone awry in the nuclear systems to blow up the world.


Nevertheless, the Earth continues to spin upon its axis. Day follows night. Seasons follow one another. And our earthly housing remains intact.


Of course, the factual answer to all of this is from the Bible. The God in Christ who created this sphere informs the disciples of data related to this globe. The detail is in the Word of God.


Genesis sets forth information concerning the Earth’s start. Then throughout Scripture more detail is revealed, even that relating to the close of the sphere.


For instance, in Ephesians 1:10, the Bible states: “At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.”


Such a simple statement, yet how profound. And how comforting to the believers. Mortals cannot destroy what is under Christ’s care. Mortals must wait for Christ’s moment when He will bring under His power both the globe and atmosphere (heaven) surrounding it.


In the meantime, believers thank God in Christ for His authority. It is that surveillance that provides us with our earthly abode. And it is that power that will bring all things to an end.

Christians got to work, including prayer, to defeat officialdom from blessing ‘same-sex unions’ as legal, per Baptist Press’ Michael Foust.


Believers banded together to network. They showed up before lawmakers to tell them not to legalize these unions.


They prayed in church, at home and in their individual devotions that God would bring biblical ethic victory to Hawaii. And it happened.


“Rick Lazor, pastor of OlaNui Church, a Southern Baptist congregation, told Baptist Press the outcome was pleasantly surprising.


“’We can come up with some good procedural reasons [for why it failed], but I don't have a doubt in my mind that it was prayer,’ Lazor told Baptist Press.


“‘We can't figure out how seven or eight representatives switched [in the last year], and some of these who became “no” votes or didn't want to vote were folks who were extremely passionate about passing it last year. It was pretty amazing.’”


God promised that the “effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous avail much.” God inspired his Holy Word to guide us in intercession and to keep the hope alive when battling various social evils.


Christians around the world daily are more and more aware that the sphere is spiritual. We are not confined to a secular world. We are living in a sphere in which the forces of good battle against the bad. Therefore, believers must be on the front lines defending the Scriptures as divinely inspired. Consequently, they defend scriptural morality.


As an example of how not to do it, chaplain Barbara Moulton, former staff member of NazNet web site, stated that she would not testify publicly against same-sex “marriages.” Yet she claims to have been a writer for the pro-friendly Church of the Nazarene read.


NazNet is not officially linked to the holiness church; however, Dave McClung, founder, repeatedly states that his site is a “friend” to the denomination. This cannot be fact for the site espouses teachings that are heretical to the Church of the Nazarene, e.g., annihilation of the unsaved at death, an “intermediate state” following death, the teaching that the Bible cannot be trusted for it has errors in it, and the hope of universal salvation.

For Ms. Mouton, as an example, to refuse to give witness to the biblical definition of marriage is appalling. Thank heaven the believers in Hawaii disagreed with her cowardice.

The Catholics distributing free syringes to addicts say that it is the lesser of two evils. They state that it is also within their Christian ethic in helping the “poor and vulnerable.”


Others state that it gives the message that drug misuse is a viable option. Also, that the server-giver agencies will be more than pleased to assist those willing to stay addicted. It can in addition invite younger ones to get into the drug misuse, believing that if they cannot handle it, Catholics will be there to walk the mile.


Per RNS’ Daniel Burke, “Catholic Charities of Albany, N.Y., has launched a new program to provide free syringes to intravenous drug users, an unusual move for a church that preaches abstinence for overcoming drug addiction and stanching the spread of HIV/AIDS.


“After five years of studying the program, ‘Project Safe Point’ began in two urban locations on Monday (Feb. 1) in the Upstate New York diocese. The project will be funded by $170,000 in grants from New York State.


“Sister Maureen Joyce, CEO of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany, said in a statement: ‘We view this new direction as an extension of our mission to serve the poor and vulnerable.’”


Question: Should state-funded grant money be used for this? Will it become a never-ending demand/supply? Has Catholic Charities worked its
way into the corner of no way out?


U.S. Bishops, in contradiction to this latest move, stated that sexual abstinence and “avoidance of intravenous drug abuse are the only morally correct and medically sure ways to prevent the spread of AIDS.” The Vatican confirmed this.


Bishops elaborated: “Although some argue that distribution of sterile needles should be promoted, we question this approach for both moral and practical reasons.”

Mark it down as biblical truth: There is no pre-tribulation rapture.


However, untold thousands believe in the "secret rapture of the church" prior to the tribulation period. This is because untold thousands don't want to have to think of suffering through a tribulation time frame. The late Corrie ten Boom called this pre-trib rapture teaching the "American doctrine." Go figure.


The belief in a secret rapture of believers before the tribulation is also because of a best-seller, "The Late, Great Planet Earth," by Hal Lindsey which was set loose in the l960s. It has been a paperback aggressively pushed by practically every evangelical / fundamentalist engine going.


Theologians, videos, films and preachers bolster up this myth with their earnest preachings and teachings.


Yet this is nothing but a myth, accented as much by certain theologically conservative Protestant segments similar unto the Roman Catholic underlining of the immaculate conception of Mary. Nevertheless, if there is no biblical support for such a Mariology teaching, it is bogus. Likewise, the pre-tribulation rapture teaching is bogus.


The pre-trib rapture concept was manufactured in the 1800s in an 18 year old Plymouth Brethren girl's dream, told to her Pastor, John Darby, and then relayed to C. I. Scofield who bought into the dream as revealed truth. Scofield placed this pre-tribulation rapture notion as a footnote in his popular Bible, hence the spread of the myth.


However, just the opposite is biblical truth. In Matthew 24:29-3l, for instance, the rapture ("gathering together") is placed in the same time frame as the open second coming of Jesus Christ. And all of this is "after the tribulation" (verse 29). That is it in a nutshell!


Yet pre-tribulation rapturists sidestep this clear passage for more oblique passages. The latter are twisted and turned in order to fit into the "American doctrine." Yet such twisting is not sound exegesis. And for biblically-riveted evangelicals and fundamentalists to commit this drastic error is bordering on the horrific.


All other passages in Scripture relating to the "gathering together unto Him" must refer back to the literal time line provided by Jesus in Matthew 24.


One must not use a symbolic passage in the Book of Revelation or any other symbolically-based section of the Bible by which to draw a pre-tribulation rapture doctrine.


Further, one must not take words of the apostle Paul so as to insert them opportunistically into a conjured pre-tribulation string of Scripture references. Yet this has been done ad infinitum.


Instead, Jesus' literalism of Matthew 24 must be used as the benchmark for all other "gathering together" themes of Scripture.


One starts with literalism and moves into symbolism when seeking to understand Scripture; it is not the other way around.


During the 1970s and 1980s there was much written and preached about a pre-tribulation rapture. This has wound down some in the last decade or so. Why?


Today, with the world situation being what it is, there is not that much risk-taking in preaching dogmatically the pre-tribulation rapture. Why?


Is it because there are many who are beginning to question its validity? Is it because the world state is so uncertain that to go out on a limb with a false hope may ricochet?


One wonders, with world events progressively becoming more and more anti-Christian, why the pre-tribulation rapture persons are not celebrating each dawn as the day when Jesus may return to earth.


Such is not the phenomenon on a large scale. Furthermore, it may be because the next generation has not bought into this notion.


In any case, it is a myth, a legend of conservative Protestantism's own conjuring and has no base in the Holy Scriptures.


Yet these very Protestants are the ones who ardently point out the myths of Catholicism while holding to some of their own myths. Both segments of Christendom need to do some serious housecleaning of manufactured legends in order to return to the simple Bible truths; otherwise, the church suffers from severe lack of knowledge.


What is so frightening about holding to a pre-tribulation rapture? It is more than mere academic quibbling. Holding to such a notion is drastically weakening the church worldwide.


The church should be preparing for spiritual battle against the most evil forces arrayed by hell.


Instead, the church is languishing with a false hope. This is all orchestrated by the demonic powers in order to eventuate in a limp army of believers. And to see that through in this age of laxity in religion does not take much on the part of the dark powers. In addition, the apostate segment of religion is doing its fair share of blackening truth.


Does it take much intelligence to realize that there are awesomely wretched days yet ahead for the righteous remnant?


Those who are not strong will drop--fall away, as biblically predicted. They will be too numerous to contemplate. But for those who are truly into carrying the daily cross there will be nothing able to thwart their zeal for Christ.


Already the remnant is being strengthened by the Spirit of light. He is gathering His own together in the power of the resurrection and the might of the revealed Word. Their numbers are few; but their ardor before the Father is lovingly honored.


Set your vision upon the difficulties yet to be. They are but the trials permitted by the coming Christ.


At the close of the tribulation period, then there will be the gathering together of the believers from the four corners of the earth. They will greet Jesus in the clouds as He descends through space, having left the right hand of the Father in heaven.


The gathering together ("rapture") and the second advent then will be realized as one and the same event occurring at the end of the tribulation time frame. Jesus' declaration in Matthew 24:29-3l states it clearly.

Christians are taking over. Voodoo priests feel left out.


So goes the bickering as people suffer and die. It is sad.


Christians are quick to respond when help is needed. It is because Christ told His own to love God with all they’ve got and their neighbors as themselves. Therefore, genuine Christians do just that.


Also, Christ taught the parable of the Good Samaritan. A man was on the road, attacked and left torn, then was serviced by a Samaritan walking the way.


That depiction has spun around the world for two thousand years. It has inspired countless believers to be Good Samaritans.


Christ Himself climbed upon the cross to permit nails pounded into His flesh, a sword spiked into His side and His body ripped from top to bottom. This was the sinless Sacrifice offered eternity’s justice in our stead.


The whole Christian gospel is sown up in golden threads of service. Consequently, when Haiti was rocked by quakes, Christians in particular responded in person and with money.


Now voodoo priests are up in arms about the contest. But they should realize that there is plenty of need to go around. Why do any persons have the strength or time to whine about others helping others?


If voodoo spokespersons want to spill goats’ blood and see drum their incantations, go to it. But don’t slam Christians who are working night and day to bring relief.


Actually, what these voodoo voices are displaying is their own misunderstanding of Christian truth. Further, they are too absorbed in their complaints to be out and doing.


Do not the voodoo leaders show their ineptness by such quarreling with Christians who don’t have the time to respond? Christians have been made fun of, derided, misinterpreted and put down for centuries. They are used to the opposition.


Consequently, with voodoo taunts rising to the skies, Christians keep on stepping in Christ’s footprints to relieve the desperate situation on the island.

MA Republican Senator Scott Brown told media that he is not for feds funding abortions but believes in the woman’s right to choose one.


Brown says that more money should support reducing the number of abortions in America.


In other words, Brown straddles the fence.


Abortion is murder. To champion a woman’s right to kill in America is still supporting killing womb babies—whether that is funded by feds or that is the choice of a woman, her doctor and her family. For a politician to make that declaration is to state one reason at least why abortion can stay.


Those who have the conscience to give any allowance for slaying infant children in women’s bodies is not a conscience that lines up with the Christian ethic.


Yet Scott claims to be Protestant, his bio stating that he attends the evangelical, Calvinistic New England Chapel, a congregation of the Reformed Church.


It’s all too messy for those who cannot tolerate thinking that anyone would permit a wedge opening for doing away the unborn boy or girl in mother’s bodies.


Brown told media that he does not agree with Republicans who champion the overturn of Roe v Wade. He said that he is fiscally conservative but not so necessarily on social issues.

THE BIBLE AND ABORTION


It is alarming to realize the nonchalance on the part of many concerning abortion. But it is not new. A popular newsmagazine quoted one medical opinion: "Abortion is finding its place as a perfectly acceptable and valid health measure. We no longer think of it as a crime."


There are those who say that every woman has a right to control her own body. That is true. Then, having control over her own body, she should not become pregnant if she does not want children. That is control! When she becomes pregnant, then she has lost her control over that situation.


But more importantly, only God has final rights to any person's body. He brought that body into life and someday will take that body out of life. In the meantime He provides the very sustaining power for the body's life to continue.


The Bible speaks of a fetus as a person, not simply tissue that can be discarded if found to be a bother or nuisance. Since the fetus is a person from the moment of conception, then the destroying of the fetus is killing a person.


“In the past, some people have mistakenly speculated that perhaps the body might be in the process of formation for some time, and then 'God breathes a soul into it.' They had it backward. The life that is present forms matter into a body for itself'” (Joseph Breig, "Life Forms Matter," The Catholic News, Jan. 24, 1974, p. 8).


"Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me? Remember that you molded me like clay. Will you now turn me to dust again? Did you not pour me out like milk ... and knit me together with bones and sinews? You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit" (Job 10:8-12 NIV).


"Before I was born the LORD called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name...and now the LORD says--he who formed me in the womb to be his servant..." (Isaiah 49:1, 5).


"The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations’" (Jeremiah 1:4-5).


In the following passages we note that personality is ascribed to the unborn.


"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that fully well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" (Psalm 139:13-16).


"Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him" (Psalm 127:3).


Exodus 21:22-25 relates how Israel was to judge a circumstance relating to the death of the unborn:


"If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."


All of the latter deals with unintentional hurt that comes to a pregnant woman; how much more will divine penalty come upon those who intentionally discard the fetus? The Gospel of Luke ascribes personality to the fetus within Elizabeth:


"When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit... As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy" (1:41, 44).


Mere tissue does not leap for joy; only personhood leaps for joy. The Bible regards the fetus as having personality. In Galatians, Paul speaks of himself as a person while still in his mother's womb, but more a person consecrated by God for a holy mission (compare Jeremiah 1:5 for the same accent):


"But when God, who set me apart from birth, and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles..." (Gal. 1: 15-16).


Since the Bible regards the fetus as personality, then the aborting of the fetus is murdering personality.


Some verses from Scripture dealing with murder are then appropriate for study, such as Genesis 9:6: "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man." Also, read Exodus 23:7: "Have nothing to do with a false charge, and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty." Note I Peter 4:15: "If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer..."


If the Republic returned to the biblical definition of personhood, we would defend every womb child.


John Adams said the following:

Grassroots Israelis true to their own heritage are angry with their politicians playing up to Barack Hussein Obama.


These Israeli leaders in recent days changed their rhetoric not to offend Muslims so as not to offend Muslim Obama. Now they are slowly changing their vernacular due to pressure from the citizenry.


Three cheers for the citizenry, many who say that it would be healthy for Jews to be loyal to Jews and forget the pro-Islam US Oval Office.


Does that sound reasonable? Does that sound patriotic in the Israeli definition? Seems so to me.


It’s similar to politically correct media in America bowing and scraping before the anointed one. FoxNews plays the truth track. Thank God there is someone out there who won’t bend for the opportunists flattening America and Israel.


Obama wants Israeli leadership to hand over to Muslims Judea and Samaria. Why? It’s all so crazy. The Israeli grassroots is barking at leadership to forget it and play smart.


Now Israeli governmental officials are saying the are going to try again to make sense with Palestinian Authority crooks and liars. That’s like patriots in America trying to make sense of the Obama corruption.


It won’t work in Israel. It won’t work in DC.


Actually, peace will only come to the Middle East when Christ returns. At the close of the Church Age, Christ will return as Lord of Lords and King of Kings—religious and political venues.


He will rule from Jerusalem after His two feet touch down on the Mount of Olives, splitting it in half to indicate His power come to Earth.


Ruling from the Holy City, the redeemed of all time will rule with him as “kings and priests,” to use New Testament terms. Such reign will last one thousand years—the millennium.


Until Christ returns, the Middle East will always be unsettled, humans trying to bring peace in their own fractured selves. The Holy One has the means by which to usher in the age of peace, and He alone.


Israel in particular is very significant to the God of the Bible. He placed the father of the faithful, Abraham, there to establish a base from which holiness could flow throughout the then-known world.


Though Abraham’s descendants disobeyed God more than followed His projections, God has remained fond of the Holy Land. That strip of land is only the size of New Jersey; yet it is in keeping with God to have a high regard for the small. Throughout Scripture, God has bestowed honor upon the little and insignificant.


Israel is the navel of the planet. The globe spins upon its happenings. Therefore, the interplay going on today regarding Israel and the PA plus Obama’s nasty input is simply another chapter preceding the coming of the Christ.

Bill O’Reilly said practically the same on his O’Reilly Factor recently.


But O’Reilly added that the next Muslim attack on America will put Obama in the doghouse. I believe that to be true; however, he may adapt even to a doghouse for he is quite adept at swinging and swaying according to his opportunism.


Obama does not watch out for the United States as he should be because, of course, he is “one of them.” A Muslim looks out for Muslims, especially those tearing America apart. Obama, a Marxist Muslim with “Christian” mask, works night and day to see through his Islamic agenda. Thus far, for one year, he is on schedule.


Mob hysteria put him where he is. Now patriots are stuck with the Chief Enemy. The Chief Enemy’s actions speak louder than any speech he reads from the teleprompter.


By now the list of Obama’s shields protecting Muslim terrorists is so long it runs off the paper. So no use reading through that litany one more time. Too wearying.


Nevertheless, with that, Collins speaks fact. Congresspersons into brain cells working healthily should repeat the same.

Universalism believes in no hell. All souls go to heaven.


The Bible over and over again states that there is an eternal hell and an eternal heaven. Those who follow Christ go to heaven. Those who do not, go to hell.


Can the Bible get clearer than that?


Obviously the Bible is offbeat for Deventer. He states in reply to the lead question: “Are you a universalist at heart?


“’I'm a Nazarene, I do not believe in universalism, but I hope God does.’”


Sappy.


That is typical sappy Deventer and others on NazNet. Instead of forthrightly endorsing the Bible, they wobble, they waffle. They must think that is cute. It is not cute. It is blasphemous to counter the Word of God with one’s willy-nilly statements.


Again, NazNet claims to be a friend of the evangelical, holiness Church of the Nazarene. No way does that church support universalism or wobbly sweet nothings as Deventer prints on the site.


NazNet cannot be trusted. It is not biblically solid.


Deventer also believes that unsaved souls are annihilated at death; they suffer no eternal hell.


He believes in infant baptism and wishes that the Church of the Nazarene practiced it far and wide.


He does not believe in the Bible as the infallible Word of God. In other words, he and NazNet founder Dave McClung believe that the Bible has errors in it.


NazNet is no friend of God, the Bible or the Church of the Nazaerne.

Barack Hussein Obama and family have yet to find a church to attend regularly.


They left the Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago, when its cultic rants delivered by Jeremiah Wright were exposed.


However, since moving to Washington, Obama has steered clear of Sunday worship in a city sanctuary. However, he tells media that he is practicing his Christian faith, regardless.


His “testimony” is backed up by liberal churchmen such as Jim Wallis. They endorse Obama’s Christian commitment.


Obama also says that he prays every night. He reads a devotional every morning. He counsels with church leaders—theological liberals—from time to time.


All this continues that Christian mask to cover up his Islamic loyalties.


The Bible says that by our fruits we are known.


Jesus would never support same-sex
“marriages.” Jesus would never endorse killing womb babies. Jesus would never give atheism the same level of importance as Christianity and other religions.


Jesus would not aggressively work to wipe out biblical broadcasting and telecasting in America. Jesus would not side with anti-Christian voices replete throughout the country. Jesus would not encourage unbelievers to up America’s Christian-heritage erase.


Yet Obama claims to be a “Christian” which means that he would follow the precepts of Jesus. However, he does everything but that.


Further, knowledgeable citizens know the long list of pro-Muslim policies and obvious gestures Obama has extended to Muslims worldwide, particularly in America.


In a TV interview, Obama confessed his “Muslim faith.”

Christians must remind themselves over and over where the real planetary power is. It is not in the Oval Office, North Korea or Iran. It is in heaven.


It flows from the throne.


Christians have at their disposal the mighty Christ. . .”in the place of honor and power.”


When Christians get their heads into the secular newscasts, they tend to forget that all this is temporary. Further, it can be toppled in seconds.


That which is permanent and powerfully at work on the deepest levels is the heavenly dynamic overseeing all global happenings.


“Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth. For you died when Christ died, and our real life is hidden with Christ in God.”


Paul continues to remind all generations throughout the church age that we must start with heaven before we can understand earth. We must begin with God before we can take in the human community.


At the moment, Muslim Barack Hussein Obama claims the power. His shadow government and the Dem Congress do the same. Even in these confusing days, they continue the mantra: We are the power. We are the power. We are the power.


That threatens every patriotic citizen except Christians. They know that Obama is not the all in all. His Islamic clique is not controlling America’s destiny.


The Christian-heritage America is watched over by God who blesses the intercessions of biblical believers. God is start and finish of everything that exists, including this nation’s welfare.


Therefore, when Christians dialogue with one another about current events, they should point constantly to the Word of God. It is there that we need to begin our discussions and end our discussions.

Newly elected Senator Scott Brown from Massachusetts told DC Republicans that he is going to stick to his own definition of who he is.


He is “Scott Brown Republican.” He is who he knows himself to be without having to mimic someone else or read up on what it means to be a Republican.


In responding to the queries, he simply stated that in running his campaign he did it with a few loyal friends. He did not get booster support from Washington Republicans.


So when Brown goes to DC, he warned media that he will dialogue with everyone—Dems as well as Reps. In other words, he’s his own person.


DC Reps left him to his own ingenuity to dump Dem Martha Coakley. Brown worked through it all with his own state connections—friends, real friends.


He made it to a win in the Kennedy-held state.


I like this about Brown. He is a unique, intelligent, committed patriot. What more do we need?
